Privacy Policy
Notipo ("we", "us", "our") operates the notipo.com website and the Notipo service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service to publish content from Notion to WordPress.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide our service:
- Account information: Email address and password when you register.
- Notion credentials: OAuth access tokens or API tokens you provide to connect your Notion workspace.
- WordPress credentials: Site URL, username, and application password for your WordPress site.
- Content data: Blog post content, images, categories, and tags synced from your Notion database.
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card number.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Sync your Notion content to your WordPress site.
- Generate featured images for your blog posts.
- Process images from Notion and upload them to your WordPress media library.
- Manage your subscription and process payments.
- Send service-related notifications (e.g., sync failures).
3. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- All credentials (Notion tokens, WordPress passwords) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption.
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
- We do not store your blog content permanently — it is processed in transit during syncing.
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant provider.
4. Third-Party Services
Notipo integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:
- Notion API: To read your database content and update page statuses.
- WordPress REST API: To create and update posts, upload media, and manage categories on your WordPress site.
- Stripe: To process subscription payments securely.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and credentials for as long as your account is active. Blog content is processed in transit and not stored permanently on our servers. Job logs and sync history are retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
When you delete your account, all associated data — including encrypted credentials, sync history, and account information — is permanently deleted.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Disconnect your Notion or WordPress integrations at any time from your dashboard.
- Export your data upon request.
7. Cookies
Notipo uses only essential cookies and local storage for authentication (storing your session token). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
